W. Adam Gillespie

Mr. Gillespie has represented clients on matters ranging from the purchase and redevelopment of Commercial Property to complex civil litigation.   In the past 10 years he has represented clients in over $450 million of real estate transactions (purchases and sales).  He has represented sophisticated clients in the “Forbes 100” buying trophy Aspen property as well as done pro bono work for clients buying deed restricted homes in Aspen.   Resort real estate transactions can be complex and expensive, often valued in the tens of millions of dollars.  Mr. Gillespie assists clients in the critical areas of negotiation of the contract, finance, appropriate due diligence including county and city zoning and planning issues and other matters including closing.

Prior to entering the field of law Mr. Gillespie was Vice President and Manager for Wachovia Bank in Virginia. Mr. Gillespie has served as chairman and volunteer for the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and volunteered for Legal Aid, Big Brother programs and other local charitable organizations.
